ICP Logística expands its presence in the Canary Islands

ICP Logística continues with the process of expansion of its headquarters and logistics facilities inaugurating this time a new platform in the Canary Islands. The warehouse of almost 2,000m² is added to the 2,500m² already existing in the islands, where ICP has been present since 2005.

In these years, ICP has established itself in the Canary Islands as a leading operator in the sector, offering direct logistics services, reverse logistics and being the center for repairs of mobile phones and electronic devices, approved by the main manufacturers.

The company has invested great resources and has put all its experience in solving the problems of the companies located in the islands that want to trade with the peninsula. In this way, within the portfolio of services, ICP has a team specialized in customs management and improvement of logistics processes, to achieve a lower cost in transportation, greater speed, maximum efficiency, and excellent quality in all the links of the supply chain.

This new facility has the latest logistics technology: automated reception points, shelves for pallet and picking, equipment equipped with cameras, integrated picking system and our own development system, SCL, for the total control of all the activities of the chain Logistics.

The platform will host new logistics operations in such relevant sectors as telephony, electronics or household appliances. It will generate new quality employment, and the Canarian staff is expected to increase by 30% for this reason.

Headquarters

The new headquarters, located in the strategic industrial park of Arinaga, Gran Canaria, has been together with “Guada 1” one of the key openings of this year 2018 and joins the more than 120,000 m2 of facilities in other points nationwide and international: Meco 1, 2 and 3, Canary Islands, Portugal, United Kingdom and France.

With this new incorporation, ICP Logística continues betting on the future and will allow both to meet the demand of any need of the current customers, as well as to have a new space for upcoming operations.
