ICP incorporates state of the art technology as part of its national and international expansion plans

The Company, which is undertaking a proactive international expansion plan, has updated its technology to increase internal storage capacity and improve efficiency. By doing so, ICP is planning ahead for future demands and new clients by installing state of the art servers.

By incorporating the HP BladeSystem server, the Company has vastly increased it’s productivity & response capacity and it is now in a position to face even more challenging national and international projects.

Servers Specification

The HP solution consists of a twin server cluster, an HP ProLiant DL580 and an HP ProLiant BL660c, connected via Fibre Channel to a high capacity 3PAR StoreServ M6710 disc cabinet. This configuration allows ICP to achieve 500TB of storage and transmission speeds of up to 4.7GB/second. The result is a 200% increase in speed and load capacity, improvement in server security and guaranteed stability of our multiclient operation.

This new structure offers ICP the required capacity for continued growth in the coming years. It is the perfect solution for the Company in order to meet our international expansion targets. ICP already has facilities in Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom which will soon be complemented with new openings in Italy, France and Germany.
