AUTOMATIC PALLET WAREHOUSE (AS/RS)
This is a narrow aisle system with 3,732 locations. It has 2 stacker cranes that work independently, in opposite aisles, through an interconnection located in the area furthest from the shelves. The system is essential to ensure business continuity during maintenance periods. The pallets are automatically identified and analysed on the AS/RS entry conveyor (pallet stability, separation of skids, weight, identification label reading, etc.). The AS/RS is managed by means of its own software, which fully optimises operating performance.
